Keneti James Fitzgerald better known as K J Apa who was born on 17th June 1997 is a New Zealand actor. He is known for his role in the Riverdale series, and he has also acted in as Kane Jenkins in the prime-time soap opera called Short land Street and as teenage Ethan Montgomery in the comedy-drama film A Dog’s Purpose. Apa was born in Auckland to parents Keneti and Tessa Apa. His father is half Samoan and is a Matai, and he has two older sisters. He studied in the Kings College in Auckland before he started his acting career.

Apa is the nephew of former rugby Union player Michael Jones, and he was also involved in a minor accident in Vancouver in September 2017 as Apa was known to fall asleep behind the wheels of the car after a long shot.
