Felicity Jones was born in 17th October 1983. She is an English actress who started her professional acting career as a child at 12 years of age. She has played many roles in school as well as college.

Her early life

Jones was born and brought up in Birmingham, England. She is the daughter of Julia and Gareth Jones. She has one elder brother. Her father was a journalist and her mother was in advertising. After Kings Norton Girls’ School, Jones attended King Edward VI Hands worth School where she completed her a levels. She took a gap in her education and appeared in the BBC series Servants. She studied English at Wadham College, Oxford and graduated with an upper second in 2006.while she studied English, she also appeared in students play including Attis where she played the title role. She also played a part in Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors opposite Harry Lloyd.

Her acting career

Jones has acted in a number of movies, including The Treasure Seekers. She also played a part of The Worst Witch and its sequel Weird sister College. She has played the role of Emma grundy in the BBCs Archers in 2008 and also appeared in Donmar Warehouse production the Chalk Garden. Jones has appeared in a number of movies, including Northanger Abbey, Chéri, The Tempest, Inferno and the Amazing Spiderman. Felicity has received a special jury prize at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival and also has been nominated for the Golden Globe, SAG, BAFTA and Academy Award for Best Actress.
